Community Refugee & Immigration Services

Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS) is an independent, non-profit organization that has been serving New American populations in Central Ohio since 1995. CRIS' mission is to help refugees and immigrants reach safety and stability, sustain self-sufficiency, and achieve successful integration into the Central Ohio community.

CRIS offers a wide array of programs to support our mission including:

•    Refugee Resettlement
•    Employment/English Language
•    Immigration Legal Services
•    Health and Wellness
•    Victims of Crime Assistance
•    Family Services (Ohio Early Intervention/ Nurturing Parenting)
•    Older Refugee & Immigrant Program
•    Community Connectors (Youth Mentoring)

The people we serve are sometimes faced with unexpected difficulties meeting basic needs, most commonly rent, utility or food assistance needed in light of job circumstances, a medical emergency or other unforeseen circumstances.  CRIS and our clients rely on support from our generous community. We hope you will consider helping our newest neighbors by reading our description of the needs posted here and making a donation. All donations are tax deductible and will go directly to the landlord, utility company or other provider, as applicable.  All needs have been vetted by our staff  and anonymous profiles are assigned to protect privacy.

In addition to supporting specific neighbor needs, you can also choose to make a donation to CRIS. Doing so ensures that our team is equipped to continue empowering the Central Ohio refugee and immigrant communities through our programs and services.
