COMPASS @ Broad Street Presbyterian Church - COMPASS (Congregational Outreach Ministries Program of Assistance & Social Service) is an outreach ministry of Broad Street Presbyterian Church and a collaboration involving numerous area churches and other community groups. COMPASS provides services to prevent homelessness and stall evictions, allowing families to remain in their homes.  This mission is accomplished by providing direct short-term financial assistance and offering targeted need referrals for individuals/families in Central Ohio.

Often there are critical miscellaneous needs that we cannot assist with or we cannot pay the entire balance.  These miscellaneous needs are payment of telephone bills, internet service, transportation costs; bus passes, or gas cards. These are all critical needs that provide stability in the homes that we serve.  In today’s world not having a phone, or not being able to connect to the internet hinders academic achievement, leaves families disconnected from securing financial assistance; medical and mental health assistance; and keeps them socially isolated from family members and friends.

We invite everyone to review our listing of current urgent needs and contribute an amount of your choosing.  Whatever is given will be combined with our efforts and finances for the betterment of the community we serve.
